FAQs

How long do lash extensions last?

Lash extensions are synthetic fibers applied to your single isolated eyelash. As your eyelashes shed, so will your extension. The normal life cycle of a natural lash can be as short as 2 weeks or as long as 8 weeks. Since your lashes are at different stages in their growth cycle at any given time, your extensions won’t all fall out at once. At around two weeks you may start to see some thinning or some gaps in your extensions. Fill appointments are usually between 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 weeks. You can significantly affect the longevity of your extensions with proper cleaning and care.

how do i know what style to choose

Classic - 1 extension : 1 natural lash. Great for very natural looks on those who have many natural lashes and want length and curl over density.

Volume - from 3 to 6 extensions : 1 natural lash. Perfect for those who want density as well as curl and length. This can be done in both natural and glam styling.

Hybrid - mixture of both. The best place to start.

ALL styles customize length, curl, density, level of drama, shape and styling.

do lash extensions ruin your natural lashes?

If your lash artist is knowledgeable, experienced and responsible (like our licensed and certified artists) the answer is NO. It is important to note that your artist will not overload your natural lashes and at times this limits the styling you may want. Our artists look very closely at the state of your natural lashes at every appointment and will discuss lighter lashes or the use of a lash growth serum if any indication of over-taxing is noticed.

Do lash growth serums work?

Yes. Yes, they do. The secret is to use it every day. Keeping the lash in the growth cycle requires consistency. With the exception of several brands that are not extension friendly, you can absolutely use them with extensions.

What is Semi-permanent makeup?

Powder Brows, Lip Blushing, Eyeliner and Lash Enhancement are all similar to a tattoo, the difference being the pigments used are applied between the dermis and the epidermis using the finest single needle. Microblading also deposits the mineral pigment here but with hand cut strokes to mimic brow hairs. Depending on skin type, they all generally last 1-3 years.
