How long do eyelash extensions last?
They can be maintained indefinitely with refills. Due to an average human lash growth cycle of 60 days, lash fills are needed every 3-4 weeks to maintain your desired look.
What’s the difference between Classic & Volume lashes?
All our lashes can be as natural or dramatic as you want. We customize each set based on what you want and what your lashes can hold. Classic is one lash applied to your one natural lash. They’re great for those with lots of strong natural lashes. Russian Volume is an advanced technique that we’re crazy for. We hand-make each ‘fan’ of teeny tiny lash fibers that can actually be lighter and more flexible than our classic lashes. They are great for everyone, especially awesome for sparse or fragile lashes.
Do they hurt?
Absolutely NOT. If you’ve ever had them before and they pinched or hurt they weren’t done correctly. Ours are weightless and flexible.
How long does it take to get these luscious lashes?
The application process takes about an hour and a half to two hours. Fills are approximately an hour. We’ll make sure you’re comfy on our padded tables & even give you a fluffy blanket. Welcome to your Lash-Nap.
What are the lashes made of?
Our lashes are made from the same material as most surgical stitches.
And the glue? (It’s near my eyes!)
All professional eyelash glues are a composed of Cyanoacrylate. It is a medical grade adhesive used on the body that cures over 24 using humidity in the environment. Many types of glue use carbon to counter the production of formaldehyde (the culprit of any type of sensitivity or allergy). Ours is produced with a monomer that is a “formaldehyde scavenger” in order to prevent the fume from occurring.
I’ve had allergic reactions before – should I get extensions?
We strongly recommend a patch test if you’re sensitive. Come on in, we’ll put 2-3 lashes on your outer corners, and you can let us know how that works out for you. We also recommend that if you have some big event to do the same.
